Background is three basic cards.
Prestigious family, top university, top company.
Play the three cards in order. Only after getting the cards and forming a hand can you play them.
A single card alone cannot be played.
Choosing a company with a relatively unified market based on your own cards makes it easier to achieve世俗意义上的成功 (secular success).
People only want three words: "getting a bargain." As long as you can offer it, you can succeed in your business. The essence of doing business is like fishing—fish only bite when they think they’re getting something for less.
Before you expect to offer a bargain, you must first answer: what exactly are you giving people a deal on?
You have to hype yourself up to move forward. If you immediately say you’re ordinary, there’s no next step. The first thing that needs to change is the positioning—only then can anything else follow.
