Be Hard on Yourself, Not on Others
With a temperament that’s less domineering and a collaborative, rational approach, if you choose a partner this way, no matter who you initially meet, after a few tries, there’s a good chance you’ll find someone close to your expectations.
But keep in mind: this so-called expectation has nothing to do with the person’s future status or achievements. Here, “expectation” simply means finding someone you genuinely like—but that liking comes with two caveats. There’s no guarantee you’ll like them forever, because you’ll change, and they will too.
After all, everyone faces the trials of life once they enter society. The person you liked at first might have nothing left twenty years later, while the person you once dismissed could be far beyond your reach. Anything is possible. #ReadingNotes#
