LoopCV: Making $150K a Month
This is an automated job search tool.
The six-person team initially built only a signup page. They shared their idea on Reddit, which led to hundreds of signups, inbound messages, and even paid subscriptions. (That validated the market demand.)
Next, they started looking for a technical cofounder to build the product. They were active across social media and job-seeking communities, helping people with their job search while driving traffic to their own product. A few months later, they caught the attention of investors and secured angel funding.
(The MVP simply let users bulk-apply to jobs on two major job boards—LinkedIn and Indeed. Users only had to enter a job title, and the tool would submit applications on their behalf.)
After that, they focused on content marketing, search engine optimization (the internet outside China isn’t an isolated ecosystem), and established link-exchange partnerships with prominent websites. They also proactively reached out to bloggers for affiliate-driven promotions.
