Is Yancheng in China suitable for playing golf?

Yancheng in northern Jiangsu has gone viral mainly due to the "Su Super League" (a regional football league), visa-free entry policies for foreign visitors, and its relatively affordable golf courses, which have attracted quite a few South Koreans.

For a round of golf, a South Korean player typically spends around 1,500 RMB in South Korea, whereas in Yancheng in northern Jiangsu, the cost is roughly 600 RMB—or even as low as 400 RMB (excluding accommodation). Of course, if you lose balls into the river, you’ll need to buy new ones, which cost tens of RMB each.

Beyond that, the area features wetland scenery where you might bump into flocks of red-crowned cranes and herds of Père David's deer, offering an authentic sense of nature.
