Does the speed at which you write your drafts determine how quickly your proposal gets approved? No—it's how many times it gets sent back for revisions. With weak technical skills, you might need three drafts before approval; with strong ones, you could produce ten drafts in the time it once took to write one. But guess what—they'll still make you go through thirty rounds.
You're talented. If the macro environment changes, you'll gain tremendous benefits. If it stays the same, your other choices will still bring you huge gains.
If you're not talented, when the macro environment remains unchanged, you have no future. And when the environment does shift, you'll be replaced, leaving you with even less future.
