The Flow of Private Capital

Private capital operates on just two logics: either Buffett or Cathie Wood.

Buffett's approach is to back whoever has the strongest cash cow; Cathie Wood's is to back whoever's most likely to win.

A person who wants to achieve something must be able to overcome their instincts.

If you want to get things done, don't aim to be understood.

The more people who understand you, the closer you are to failure, and the closer you are to danger.

In the process of getting things done, you inevitably become less and less understood. Only when you're not understood can you actually pull it off.

Amateurs in the market are the ones constantly shouting, "Why doesn't anyone understand me?"

The only way to exercise one’s rights is through participation.

The only way a person can exercise their power is by participating.

Wealth is acquired through the exercise of power.

Wisdom is gradually developed as a person exercises their power and acquires wealth.

In other words, if you do not participate, you will have no power, no wealth, and no wisdom.
