Your existence may be a burden to the whole, but it could benefit someone.

You need to respect that person's interests and align them with yours.

You also need to give them a story they can use to justify your existence to others.

What does the world need? What do I have? What do I want? What am I willing to give up?

A pragmatic founder aligns with timing, geography, and circumstances — and ships results.

No one sleeps on the floor just to torture themselves. They only do it because the ROI of sleeping on the floor is high. If it weren’t—if even sleeping on the floor yielded less than putting money in the bank—there would be no reason to do it.

So, what someone does matters more than what they say. Their actions are always focused on higher-output pursuits.
