Do you know what you're good at from the start? No. You can only eliminate what's obviously not your strength based on past performance, and then assume the rest comes naturally to you.
The process of gradually eliminating areas you're not suited for is the inevitable path to discovering what you're actually good at.
Knowing what you're not good at isn't necessarily discouraging—it's more often a sign of self-awareness.
