What Do You Want? Many People Think It’s Answered in an Instant. Actually, It’s Gradually Answered.

As long as you keep moving forward, you'll eventually figure out what you want. But if you're old and still don't know what you want, there's only one explanation: you've never actually left where you started.

In that case, you don't need to think about what you want either—because you've already found the answer. The ground you're standing on right now is what you want. Otherwise, how could you have stayed put, unwavering, for decades?

Laggard Advantage

As the laggard, you may feel inferior about your situation, but you must remain exceptionally confident in your determination to change. Everyone is better than you, and the gaps between you and others are obvious. You'll close them by copying and improving.

There are essentially two types of people within conservative forces

One type is someone who doesn't care whether everyone is doing well; he only cares about himself.

The other type may not be so selfish—he actually wants everyone to do well, but he doesn't trust your new approach. He hasn't seen it, so he can't believe in it; he'd rather stick to the old way.
