At that point, you’d be waiting forever—life is finite, and you simply can’t afford that kind of cost. Being able to cover up to 800 attempts, and compressing the journey to within those 800 shots—that’s what education is all about.

It's not that you don't have new friends, or that you lack opportunities to see a world different from your past environment. You simply refuse to integrate.

A first-class horse carries the whip in its heart, driving itself relentlessly at all times. A second-class horse responds to the sight of the whip. A third-class horse only runs when it feels the stinging pain of the whip on its back.

In today’s job market, third-class horses can’t even find an opportunity to get whipped—nobody has the time to discipline you.
