30 New WeChat Mini Games: Three Kingdoms, Temple Run 2 and a Mahjong Bench
The worst part of finding a mini game is not the lack of choice — it is the pile of same-name knock-offs you have to tap through before finding the real one. For this batch of 30 additions, every title was checked one by one against the official WeChat promotion library: Legends of the Three Kingdoms, Temple Run 2 and Battle of Balls are all here, plus a full bench of regional mahjong variants. No downloads, everything opens inside WeChat.
Start with the household names
Legends of the Three Kingdoms (San Guo Sha): the card game that popularised hidden-role battles — lord, loyalists, rebels and the spy, three minutes a round, and reading people matters more than the cards.
Temple Run 2: the runner that defined the genre. Swipe to jump, slide and turn; the rules fit in one sentence, the fun is all reflexes.
Battle of Balls: big orb eats small orb. Split, merge and corner your rivals in matches that last a few minutes and always end with "one more round".
Talking Tom Hero Dash: Tom turns hero and chases the raccoons through a bright runner with light combat — an easy, clean pick for a quick break.
Regional mahjong: your hometown rules, probably included
The Weile series alone adds 11 titles, all free-room-card friendly for games with family and friends: Guangdong, Shandong, Zhejiang, Hunan, Jilin and Longjiang mahjong, plus Guandan, Baohuang, Paodekuai, Gouji and the north-eastern Baoyao.
Duole adds three more classics: Duole Guandan, Duole Paodekuai and Duole Shengji, the tractor-style升级 card game many families grew up with.
Round it out with JJ Mahjong, the Cantonese Queshen Guangdong Mahjong and Sichuan-style Dahaer Mahjong — a good way to learn the local rules before the holiday family game. Play for the company, keep it light.
Chess players get JJ Xiangqi, a dedicated Chinese-chess platform, and an online Xiangqi title for a quick match any time.
Something for your brain, something to unwind
Sudoku: fill the grid, one number at a time — simple rules, endless depth, perfect for a queue or a commute.
Tetris Deluxe and Pop Star (new edition): one stacks blocks, the other pops stars; both are zero-learning-curve stress relief.
Black Hole: Endless Mode: steer a black hole and swallow everything on the street. No levels to fail, just grow.
Slower games: building and defending
Time Grocery Store: travel back to 1990 and run a small neighbourhood shop, one quiet upgrade at a time.
Pirate Kings (Haidao Laile): spin, earn coins and build your island, with plenty of visiting — and raiding — between friends.
Endless Tower Defense: place your line, merge and upgrade towers, and let the waves come.
The full list of all 30, with a page for each game, lives in the complete game library — filter by category or search by name, bookmark it, and pick something next time you have five spare minutes.
