The basic workflow is to list email addresses in a Google Sheet, then use Gmail to send the messages. You can also create drafts in Gmail to use as templates for bulk sending.

The free plan allows 50 emails per day. Paid options include $24/year for 400 emails per day, and $500/year for 1,500 emails per day.

The plugin started out of a customer need and grew from there. The 400- and 1,500-email caps are set by Google's own limits.
