ElevenLabs Management
1. You don't need to know everything. If you knew everything, you'd accomplish nothing. This company values results, and focus is more valuable than being informed.
2. Solving problems always takes priority over technical purity. If a new approach yields no results after three months of research? Whatever workaround—even if it seems crude—use it first to solve the problem. Everything else comes later.
These first two points are concessions to performance reviews: You get six months to find PMF (product-market fit). If you can't solve the problem, the team gets disbanded on the spot.
3. The company pays commissions on deals that end up being unworkable, because salespeople brought them in. In some cases, a salesperson secures an order, but the company decides not to pursue it. Even then, the company still pays the salesperson a commission on that order.
