Money is actually an IOU for human labor; when you have a lot of money, it means that other people owe you a lot of labor.

Since other humans owe you a lot of labor, whether you can redeem the goods and services you want depends on two factors.

The first factor is whether we're still in the Industrial Age. If we enter the AI Age, then as Elon Musk said, human labor is replaced by AI. If no one is working anymore, what good is money when trying to redeem someone's labor? Money then becomes like seashells from ancient times—just useless trinkets.

The second factor is: even if we're still in the Industrial Age, how you turn that redeemed labor into your own happiness—that's your own business. You could hire 800 people to serve as your honor guard, scattering clean water and铺设黄土 before your每一步, every day you step out. That's redeeming other people's labor. But after you've got it all, are you feeling happy, or do you feel like you're fooling around? Only you know the true taste of it.
