A parent’s love for their child is profound.

I can love my daughters unconditionally, but that doesn’t guarantee they’ll meet a partner who loves them equally when they grow up. I can leave them my assets, but that doesn’t ensure they’ll live wealthy lives—building and keeping wealth both require skill. Good grades, beauty, or marrying well are icing on the cake in my view, not the most important things. What I value most is that they develop healthy attitudes toward money and career from a young age, including how to earn income and how to live comfortably within their financial means. That way, even if they don’t end up with enviable looks or a lifetime romance, the money they earn on their own will be enough to fund their lives.
