You Need to Learn to Actively Bury Your Youth

You must grow up, and that process requires you to do it yourself. Keep asking: what exactly do others love about me? Answer that question constantly, and you’ll mature.

Every task your boss assigns you is something they don’t want to do themselves. All the training is designed to turn you into a better tool—to be utilized by them, just as you’d hire a cleaner because you don’t want to sweep, or a secretary because you don’t want to book flights, process paperwork, or deliver contracts.

Teachers teach because it’s their job. Their primary goal isn’t to help you become exceptional—it’s to shape you into a product that meets their targets. They have their own KPIs and success rates. Whatever gap exists between the “material” they want you to become and the person you actually want to be—that’s on you to bridge.
