What you think doesn’t matter; what others think you think does.

It's like playing mahjong: you know what cards everyone else is holding, and you want them to believe you're holding certain cards. That's how you win.

You need to emit false signals that steer others' expectations in the direction that serves your purpose.

Talent is fundamentally scarce

Scarcity is fundamentally mathematical probability.

When scarcity sits at 1/10,000, multiplying two 1/100 factors yields that same 1/10,000. Dropping either one leaves you at only 1/100—scarcity remains insufficient.

If skill A carries 1% scarcity and skill B carries 1% scarcity, combining both skills yields 0.01% scarcity—or 1 in 10,000.
