Why Young People Feel Pressure, Not Motivation

Humanity seems to have no intention of joining forces to suppress the return on capital or raise labor's share of income; instead, we're heading toward artificial intelligence.
The AI direction means handing as many low-end jobs as possible over to machines—or, in other words, making labor increasingly dependent on creativity.
Not everyone can become an artist, engineer, scientist, and so on.
In practice, this AI path has weakened the bargaining power of most workers.
It used to be that if you didn't work, someone else would. Now, neither you nor anyone else is needed—AI will do it.
