It's about not wasting time on unimportant people or matters. To put it more plainly, don't do things that don't yield results.

If you want to get things done, if you want to pursue your own goals, you will encounter many such people or situations designed to thwart you.

In the true process of entrepreneurship, you'll find that allies are hard to come by. Enemies seem to be everywhere, and even those rare, fleeting allies might stab you in the back at any moment.

So from this perspective, a mediocre teammate is still, at least, a teammate.

That's just life.
