Beautiful women are rare, but compared with the rich, there are actually plenty of them. Talented people are rare, but compared with those who have resources, there are many talented people.
Information cocoons are also class cocoons. What you take for common knowledge and consensus may not be widely known once you step outside that circle.
The word "relative" points to gaps in resources and information, which means there is room for arbitrage.
You have to step out if you want to break free from your information cocoon.
