Planning for the work is planning for oneself
CategoryReading Notes
A person first prioritizes their own interests—putting survival before objectives.
If you want someone to work toward a goal, that goal must align with their personal interests—making the pursuit of the objective identical to the pursuit of their own well-being. Only when there are clear rewards for success and consequences for failure, with authority matching responsibility, will they truly take initiative.
