How to Fuel Consumerism

The first thing consumerism does is—suppress straight male aesthetics, undercut the meaning of hard work, and promote a life of pleasure. Because if you want to be happy, you have to consume: spend money, travel, stay at luxury hotels, drink coffee. How can you be happy without spending? Right?

The second thing consumerism does is tell women that simps and nice guys are the ones who truly love them—that you have to remember every anniversary, turn every holiday into Valentine’s Day, to prove your love. Anything less means you don’t care. And how do you turn every holiday into Valentine’s Day? By spending fucking money.

Only when consumerism is thriving can you make money.
