No One Can Navigate by Weather Forecast Alone; You Need a Ship First

Weather forecasts are a great thing, but they're absolutely not enough on their own. Even an excellent weather forecast can't level the playing field between people. After all, some people sail on aircraft carriers, while others don't even have a wooden plank.

Every gain in life comes with a price tag. Each person is willing to pay a different cost.

Some are willing to study hard since childhood; others feel that such a childhood holds only painful memories. Some are willing to be frequent flyers; others believe that a life spent missing one's family, even with career success, is itself a misfortune. Some need to save moneyto marry; some need to save money to buy a house; some need tomake up for shortcomings in their IQ, some need to make up for shortfalls in EQ, and someneed tosupport their elderly parents and young children. Their risk tolerance is destined to be insufficient.
