Knowing you're doing something wrong doesn't mean you won't count on your luck—because before this, you've gotten away with it many times, and on many of those previous occasions, you were indeed let off. Doing wrong doesn't always lead to a bad outcome, but it's precisely because you've kept receiving positive feedback that you might push things to an uncontrollable point, wouldn't you agree?
