Can a snack supermarket succeed?

It feels like it’s not going to work out. Maybe it’s just that I don’t like snacks. The gross margin is low, the capital turnover cost is high, and hardware store management fees are hard to control. A slight slowdown in sales makes it feel like you can’t survive. I think basically only those with local monopolies in university towns can make it?
