Living Space Sees Two Forces
One is your capability, and the other is your endurance.
A person’s living space lies between these two. If your capability is stronger than others’, or your endurance surpasses theirs, then your living space is broader.
In practice, this simply means: doing what others are unwilling to do, and putting heart and soul into what others do carelessly.
The hard part is not about a single day—it’s about every day. It’s not about acting on a whim, but about maintaining consistency for ten years.
Entrusting something to yourself means finding a way (that’s capability), enduring grievances (that’s endurance), and being able to adapt to future changes and keep pace with the times.
For most people, the most important thing is self-awareness. You must understand the boundaries of your capabilities and your endurance. If you have no particular strengths and only know how to blame others and rely on circumstances, you are not someone who can get things done, nor are you a reliable person. If you lack ability, learn to align yourself with the right team. Follow those who are reliable, continuously improve your utility, and patiently wait for things to come to fruition.
