Seeing the world isn’t about looking with your eyes, it’s about understanding with your mind.

Sheep flock together; predators walk alone. What you see isn't necessarily the truth, because what you see is often limited by your dimension.

A sheep in a herd may think it sees the full picture, but does it? It can only see the backsides of the few sheep in front of it. Its dimension limits it from seeing the whole picture.

Someone who can see that the sheep is simply following the one in front of it—and that even if it changed herds, it would just follow different backsides—understands that beyond the herd are the shepherd's dogs, and above those dogs is the shepherd himself. Only a predator, standing alone on a mountain peak looking down on everything, can see the scattered nomadic tribes across the grassland.

So, a person doesn't necessarily see the truth just by opening their eyes.

The premise of "seeing is believing" is that you have a brain. Without thinking, you can't digest information or interpret it.

In financial markets, much information is public and nothing is hidden from you. Yet even so, you're still the one getting reaped like a leek.
