What is the premise that money can buy service? It’s anonymity. The person serving you doesn’t know who you are, which is why you can access good service at a service center—the service has been certified by process. They aren’t serving you as an individual; they’re simply following a script.

Once they already know who you are, the staff around you necessarily掌握 your privacy while serving you. From that moment on, you’re no longer in a service relationship—you’re in a mutual calculus of算计. When I know who you are, when I step into your circle, why follow a service process at all? The person I’m serving is effectively my prey.

Once resources converge, human nature falls into a prisoner’s dilemma—it becomes a box for breeding gu (venomous creatures).
