The Meaning of Learning

A person has three origins, without a family foundation, you must strive for a prestigious school or a top company.

Once you get into a top company, climb up, and build relationships with the upper class—that's what top students do. Top students only need to do two things: one is to run fast and cling to a powerful mentor; the other is what? Even if you don't climb to the top by the end, but you build good relationships with everyone, you'll understand its value when you're older and facing layoffs. As long as one of your colleagues or friends you're close with climbs up, that's your opportunity.

What top students fear most is being bad at interpersonal skills—graduating from a prestigious school without building any connections, working at a top company without securing anyone. And what happens? And they haven't climbed up themselves. The cards in hand have an expiration date; whether you can leverage them within the time limit is crucial.

You study to gain unfair advantages, not to pursue fairness. Why bother studying if you only want fairness?
