How is the tea market?

Team 1: First-order sales in private-domain tea retail hit 500 yuan, with a repurchase rate of around 60%, and a follow rate roughly 0.01% of video plays. No paid traffic—only organic. But opportunities like this don’t come around anymore.
Team 2: Market traffic still exists, but sales conversion has dropped 60–70%, even for top streamers. About 10% of post-purchase customers end up in private domains, with an annual repurchase rate around 7%. Repurchase order values are solid at 5,000–50,000 yuan. The key now is to stay “in motion”—keep moving, because only by taking action can you find new opportunities. (Original article)

P.S.

I’ve also been looking for tea suppliers lately, planning to build a mini-program to sell tea. The idea came after meeting a Gen-Z girl who buys about 300 yuan worth of tea every 3–6 months and drinks it daily. I used to think tea wasn’t a viable product, but from a pure consumption perspective, it clearly has a stable customer base and is a long-term business.
