Choice matters more than effort, but only if you’re at the top. For most people, effort outweighs choice.

To be precise, it’s the correct way to work hard that matters more than making the right choice.

At the end of the day, everything comes down to a success rate. There’s no such thing as choosing the “right” path and guaranteeing 100% success.

When we say task A is harder than task B, we mean A has a 1% success rate while B has a 10% success rate.

But for 90% of people, A and B are effectively the same—they’ll get eliminated either way. Do you see what I’m getting at?

When you’re part of that 90%, your outcome is already sealed. It’s not that the road is bumpy; it’s that you’re not capable enough. No road is smooth for everyone, and there’s never a path that lets everyone through together.

What’s truly holding you back are the specific, concrete problems right in front of you. The problems rooted in yourself. The hard truth is that you can’t even reach the threshold of any so-called opportunity. In every track, you’re the one getting filtered out.

You need to solve that first.
