Many people approach problems by asking, “What is correct?”

Some people instead ponder what's actually actionable?

When someone is accustomed to the former, they immediately jump into right versus wrong. You can talk your heart out and pour every ounce of effort into it, but the person across from you grows impatient, listening with one ear in and the other out, offering little more than perfunctory acknowledgments. But when someone is accustomed to the latter, you frame everything in terms of利弊—benefits and costs—for the listener right there, and suddenly they're willing to hear you out and actually absorb what you're saying.
