Risks can strike at any time

Quite an interesting post.

I originally thought my father-in-law only had 50,000 in online loans, but then a further 200,000 in online debt was revealed later. (It's a form of staged lending, somewhat like losing money gambling.)

The potential risk is significant, and unsurprisingly, my wife wants to help by using our own money to pay off her family's original debts.
