When You’re at the Bottom, It’s Not Hardship — It’s Luck

You got the ticket you didn't deserve.

Everyone else is better qualified than you, so don't expect fairness. Real life is many people too eager to be screwed over — but sorry, there's no such luck of getting bullied.

No luck. Not anyone's driver. Not anyone's relative either. And the skills and experience you earned through your own effort? They'll be resented, guarded against. You only get a chance to rise when chaos hits. As for the rest of the time, you just suffer patiently, lying low in the grass.

That's the norm.

Nothing was given to you. Everything you have was seized by your own hand. The fact that you haven't been stripped of it yet by those stronger who pick on the weak means you've already had to give it everything. That's real life.
