The strong (people) always act for themselves

The best choice is to become the expert yourself, to stand on higher ground of information. That way, the headaches belong to others.

If you believe that those more capable than you genuinely love you, act in your interest, and are here to take care of you—what if they don't? Then you're left trying to influence them through moral appeals, which is just ridiculous.
