If you have money, you can afford to be lonely. Loneliness means you've reclaimed your time. You can arrange what you want to do today and what you don't.

If you can't buy back your time, you'll be watched by your boss, forced to work overtime, and have a single manuscript revised eighteen times, with each rejection citing reasons like whether you left two lines blank at the beginning.

Besides that, you can also buy other people's time, which is leveraging yourself for your own benefit. You can propose ten ideas and buy ten people to act as guinea pigs, validating them in parallel rather than spending your own time sequentially.
