No third-party sales of domestic carrier SIM cards starting August 2026

A lot of traffic SIM cards with low-priced plans seem to have completely gone the way of the dodo, right? But it's not out of the question that in the future, as part of a new round of competitive agreements, they'll roll out uniformly priced plans with standardized content—targeted at aging populations and college students, for example. Then again, there might always be some sneaky little shenanigans going on behind the scenes.
