Girls are taught from an early age how to dress up and present themselves beautifully—this process is called conforming to standards.
Boys, on the other hand, are raised with the message that the world is theirs for the taking.
My self-worth isn’t defined by your standards.
If I’m strong enough to hold my ground, does it really matter whether you think I’m ordinary?
