They Encourage Others to Be Doctors, But Not Their Own Children

I once met this guy who was pretty fascinating. He acquired a bunch of properties for his kid to collect rent from, then went on to tell his employees that being young isn't about obsessing over money — it's about having dreams. Let those dreams take your breath away, and only then will you have lived life to the fullest.
Like these middle-aged folks, or as we might call them, the previous wave, I've seen quite a few.
Leave the shares to your kids, leave the dreams to the next wave.

Even Lian Yue, who once rose to fame advocating for the people, later tried every means to persuade his lawyer wife to quit her job and follow him in flipping properties, trading stocks, and working as his spiritual mentor's assistant.
He frankly put it this way: practicing law just isn't worth it — far less profitable than being his assistant.
The very same spiritual mentor who built his career on fighting for the common people wouldn't even let his own wife practice law to defend justice. Sigh, what am I, his former fan, supposed to think?
I'm not saying everyone is like this, but if I met 500 of them and they all behaved the same way, with not a single exception, that sample alone would at least reflect some real probability.
