Created a Group and Wrote the Announcement
Sayings:
I've been on the hunt for a WeChat group dedicated to personal official account operations. I want to explore new strategies and discover fresh ideas that go beyond the standard features, aiming for different operational outcomes.
I've joined quite a few groups, including the New Rank official account exchange group. However, most groups start off lively but quickly go quiet. Some have essentially died. The majority eventually devolve into either ad-spam groups or "engagement mutuals" where members just circulate articles to inflate readership and likes.
So, I decided to build my own operations exchange group.
Additionally, I'm about to enter the workforce, specifically targeting marketing roles. I wanted to create a WeChat group for a marketing think tank—a place to share work experiences and solve problems collaboratively. It's about sharing knowledge.
With that in mind, I'm planning two WeChat groups for operations. Below is the announcement and community guidelines for the first one.
Community Guidelines for the Personal Official Account Operations Group
Author: Li Xuehan
1. Feel free to raise any questions or issues related to account operations for discussion.
2. Share content relevant to personal official account operations. This includes your own articles (e.g., tips on layout design or search ranking optimization) or interesting pieces from outside the platform. If you're found sharing irrelevant content, you'll be removed.
3. You may use discussions from this group as material for your own writing or sharing. However, you must cite the source (format: "Source: WeChat Group + Group Name + Contributor's Nickname"). Do not mark such content as your own original work; this announcement serves as evidence for reporting violations. If you plan to use this content for commercial purposes, please contact the contributors privately to express your gratitude.
4. All new members should read these guidelines thoroughly. Those inviting others must ensure the invitee understands the rules before joining, and the inviter should briefly explain the group's context to the new member.
In short, this group is strictly for learning and exchanging ideas about official account operations. Any actions unrelated to this purpose will result in removal, and you bear the consequences.
Ads are prohibited. Sharing articles solely to inflate readership and likes is also prohibited.

For example:
1. Welcome to the Marketing Think Tank WeChat group! Let's discuss and exchange ideas on marketing-related topics.
2. Feel free to share relevant WeChat official account articles (e.g., channels for app promotion) and content from external sources.
3. You may use group discussions as material for your writing or sharing, but you must cite the source (format: "Source: WeChat Group + Group Name + Contributor's Nickname"). Do not claim such content as your own original work; this announcement serves as evidence for reporting violations. If you plan to use this content for commercial purposes, please contact the contributors privately to express your gratitude.
4. All new members should read these guidelines thoroughly. Before joining, invitees must understand the rules; the inviter should also explain the group's context. Familiarize yourself with basic WeChat group features, such as searching group history and using related mini-programs (some features require specific operations).
5. I recommend using personal official accounts for writing. Many issues are best explained through long-form articles, making it easier for others to dive in and understand. (After reading my article "Why I Started a Personal Official Account," I believe many will be motivated to write.)
Finally, this group is strictly for marketing-related learning, exchanges, and discussions. Any actions unrelated to this purpose will result in removal, and you bear the consequences.
No warnings. No reminders. You're out.

I want to show you the beauty of the rest of my life.
You might notice—hey, these two announcements look eerily similar. That's because I've created a template. You can use it as a ready-made guide whenever you need to set up a new WeChat group.
I'm naturally lazy. I like finding standardized solutions for everything to reduce workload and boost efficiency.
One reason I started this official account is to lighten my own load—so I don't have to start from scratch every time.
I'm dipping my toes into group operations with this announcement. Once I accumulate experience, I'll write another article about it.
