Best Razor Recommendations

I don't get how some people list so many brands and products when they recommend things. Did they learn from getting burned so many times?

Anyway, onto the actual review:

First off, I'm on a budget—I don't buy anything over $15. So if you like splurging, feel free to skip this. But if your spending habits are similar to mine, read on.

I wouldn't really recommend Flyco. My first electric shaver was one, mostly because it's a big brand and I assumed the quality would be decent. I got a washable cordless model, and honestly, the first month felt pretty good. But then things took a turn...

It didn't take long before the handle started getting sticky for no apparent reason. Flyco handles seem to attract dust and grime constantly. I'd wipe it clean, but the next time I used it, it was tacky again—like I'd smeared honey on my hands. Super annoying. Plus, the battery barely holds a charge. After a while, it stopped holding power altogether and only worked when plugged in. If just one had that issue, I could live with it.

But the kicker is I bought multiple units—three or four—and they all had the same problems. I'm done with Flyco. Unless it's free, I'm not touching another one. Maybe I got counterfeits, but I'm never giving them another chance. The trial-and-error cost was too high. It was also the only product I've bought over $15 that completely let me down.

Finally, I highly recommend Xiaomi's Yingqu shavers. They're cheap and work great. I've been using mine for over a year, and all three I own are still going strong. A full charge lasts a good while, it's compact and convenient, and I kept the box—it stores it in there sealed up (same as I did with the Flyco, which is probably why the Flyco died). The shaving performance is solid too, not far off from pricier brands. Just keep the hair short, trim every half month or so, and you won't run into issues. Great bang for your buck—usually $5–7 during big sales—and good quality overall. Perfect for most people.
