Things That Lower Your Value

If you can quantify the costs and returns of behavior, then getting things done is by far the most important expected payoff, right? That means付出 a little face and a little dignity is fine—as long as it doesn’t involve your principles or beliefs, dignity and face are actually tradable. Don’t sit on your hands just because you have some status, some identity, or some influence, thinking you’re too good to do anything that might lower your perceived value. If you do, you’ll miss out on many excellent opportunities for growth and collaboration.
