Most people are out of their minds. Women are swayed by this polished artsy-britz lifestyle and think opening a flower shop, a café, or a bookstore is the dream. Men get hypnotized by these lofty tech leadership myths and figure the only thing that matters is building phones, cars, or rockets. It’s all a sickness.
It’s completely irrelevant to regular people.
To put it plainly, even if you graduated from a top-tier university, as long as your family has no money, you’re still going to be打工 for someone else, right? You’re still going to be on your knees. No money means you serve others. Regular folks who want to make money need to be willing to grind—don’t fantasy about anything glamorous or high-end, and don’t let your pride get in the way.
Society will humble you.
Save more, earn more, spend less—that’s how you create space for bigger opportunities and climb to higher social rungs.
At the very least, pick a path where most people walking it can actually make money. That way, you’re not facing an absurdly high failure rate or taking devastating losses.
“Artsy” and “high-end” are just packaged vanity taxes—luxury goods bought by people who can afford to pay them.
