How ReviewFlowz Hit $200 MRR in 3 Months
The two of us are marketing automation people by trade, so we built a social listening tool on the side. It took three weeks to ship the MVP, and within three months we were already making $200 a month.
That doesn't sound like much, but the real insight here is solid: you can track how your product is being talked about across social platforms. If someone posts that they had a bad experience with your X product and starts complaining, you get an alert the moment it goes live—and your support team can jump in right away to handle the negative feedback before it spreads.
I'm not sure if there's a similar product in China that monitors Weibo natively, but those kinds of tools are usually expensive. I noticed myself that when I complained to JD.com or Debon, both responded fast with customer service DMs to resolve the issue. For brands, this kind of reputation management tool is probably pretty valuable—catching negativity early and addressing it quickly could save a lot of brand damage.
There's definitely room for a similar tool in China, too—monitoring Zhihu, Douyin, Kuaishou, Douban, plus those third-party complaint platforms.
