Look at anything through the lens of: what’s this got to do with me, and how can I make money from it? Dig into that connection—what risks are there, what opportunities, and how do you flip them to earn.

Drop the student mindset of weighing who’s right or wrong, or asking “what if I were in their shoes.” You’re not anyone else; you’re just you. You need to cover your family’s expenses from where you stand.

When you invest or manage money, focus on your own income situation, your asset allocation, and which investment vehicles you actually have available.

That’s how you read with purpose—and only then does it improve your decisions.
