How to Launch a Startup With a Small-Scale Product

We started by sourcing from a platform similar to 1688, finding a small workshop that could accept a minimum order of around 100 units. After discussing the possibility of private-label production and confirming they could meet our needs, we began promoting the product on other platforms and secured 60 orders. With confirmed demand in hand, we officially commissioned production.

As orders grew and the original workshop upgraded and could no longer keep up, we leveraged personal connections to obtain the production recipe and partnered with a larger-capacity supplier.
