2023 What’s Worth Buying for Shopping Addicts Who Just Want to Spend
After reading several people’s year-end summaries, here are a few items I’ve added to my cart:
First: Jimmy Toolbox X2-AB
I recently bought a bed on JD.com and went for the cheaper option. Turns out the material was just standard particle board (I’d actually wanted solid wood). This reminded me that for big-ticket items—especially when you need them soon—it’s usually better to buy from a physical store. They’ve got everything you need, and assembly often requires tools like those in this toolbox. Every household should have one on hand. It’s handy for assembling or repairing things, and having tools at the ready is just practical. Think of it as an adult toy. This model stands out for its sleek design and strong expandability—you can buy additional layers later to complete your set. The AB two-tier version covers almost all manual tool scenarios.
Second: OPPO Enco X2 Bluetooth Noise-Cancelling Earbuds
Based on reviews I’ve seen, most people say these don’t fall short of Apple’s Noise-Cancelling Pro earbuds. Whether you’re looking for a budget alternative or just earbuds that work across more scenarios, the Bluetooth protocol makes them a solid pick. (That said, if you’re all-in on Apple devices, the Apple experience will feel more seamless.) Overall, these are quite good Bluetooth earbuds. (Try to avoid Xiaomi—I’ve used a few of their models and they’re terrible.)
Third: Canon CP1300 Mobile Photo Printer
The reason for recommending this is straightforward: a blogger I follow lost theirs and then bought another one. You only repurchase things that actually work well, right? If you like printing photos—say, for scrapbooks or building a family photo wall—this is worth considering. You could also set up a small stall at places where young couples hang out. Charging $10 per photo isn’t a bad side hustle. Honestly, it’s probably better than instant cameras now, since phone cameras have gotten so good and most people’s photos are taken on their phones anyway. Printing straight from your phone is convenient. Word is that Wi-Fi printing makes the process even simpler.
Note: Compatible photo paper
Fourth: AOC 27-Inch 4K Monitor
People say it’s a really solid monitor. If you’re in the market for one, it’s worth considering. The display quality apparently looks great.
