It feels like traditional Chinese culture is making a comeback—hanfu (ancient-style clothing) is everywhere in the streets, and guofeng (national style) hairpins are flying off the shelves. One brand is already raking in 40 million RMB a year and planning to export these hairpins overseas.
That said, the JD.com flagship store doesn't seem to have huge sales volume. Prices are reasonable, though, and if you're struggling to find a gift for your partner, these are actually worth considering—they genuinely look great.
