Applied majors remain in demand

In less crowded fields, applied majors are generally much more valued by the market than the theoretical ones everyone flock to.

Take rehabilitation medicine, for instance—special needs child rehab, postpartum recovery, and elderly care. As families have more money to spend on their kids and elders, incomes in these areas tend to outpace most regular undergraduate theoretical majors, and the entire industry remains relatively stable.
