The Education Trap

Paying exorbitant tuition for education is highly risky and can easily trap you in the bonds of excessive academic subservience.

Education trains you in specific disciplines, which limits your options. If opportunities are scarce in my field, my education becomes marginalized and worthless. If a job requires only a lower qualification, like a bachelor's degree rather than an MBA, being overqualified may make companies reluctant to hire me. And if technological advances render the skills I acquired obsolete, my education loses its relevance and my social value plummets.

In the end, you spend your limited years repaying limited debts.
